During the shoot of Star Trek, Brian was called on to help out with the application of some of the Romulans. Ken Niederbaumer who had been helping Joel Harlow with the application of Eric Bana's "Nero" makeup, went back to his previous show, allowing Brian to step in and assist Joel with this makeup.
